Resources to get ready and stay in control.
Staged sample calls, setup guides and the checklists we use at onboarding. Everything here matches what Leady does today, and anything that isn't live yet is marked.
Hear it, set it up, check it off.
- Sample calls
After hours: a chipped tooth, held for approval
A caller asks to be seen this week. Leady offers a time in Op 2 and places a hold for your front desk to confirm.
Recording coming - Sample calls
A new patient asks which insurance you take
Leady names the plans your practice lists as in-network, exactly as you typed them, and never says what a plan covers.
Recording coming - Sample calls
Lunch hour: a transfer nobody can pick up
During the hours you set, Leady transfers the call to your staff. No answer, so it creates a callback task and notifies your team.
Recording coming - Sample calls
After hours: swelling and a fever
Leady follows your protocol and routes the call to your on-call dentist. It gives no clinical advice.
Recording coming - Setup guides
Forwarding your line to Leady
After hours, busy hours, or after 3 to 6 rings. Forward from your own phone system, and switch it off yourself any time. Carrier steps are added as each is tested.
- Setup guides
Your Open Dental API key
What the key is for, how your practice gives Leady access, and exactly what Leady reads and writes with it.
- Setup guides
The readiness check
What the check confirms on your Open Dental key before onboarding, and how to read the result.
- Checklists
BAA checklist
What to have ready before you sign. No call is answered and no practice data is touched before a BAA is signed.
- Checklists
Onboarding checklist
What to bring to your one-hour online call: hours, chairs, appointment types, on-call roster, in-network plans and your form links.
- Webinars
The approvals queue, live
A walkthrough for front desks: confirming and declining holds, and where a declined hold goes.
- Webinars
Call transfer and on-call routing
For office managers: setting transfer hours, transfer order and your on-call roster.

Questions from Open Dental practices
An open session on booking modes, holds and what Leady writes to Open Dental.
The readiness check, before anything else.
It runs on your Open Dental key and confirms Leady can read what booking needs. If something is missing, you see it before your onboarding call, not after.
Reads only what booking needs
Patients for lookup, appointments, schedules, operatories and providers. Never clinical notes, imaging, ledgers or payroll.
Your chairs, as Open Dental has them
Operatories, appointment types and durations are read from Open Dental, so your Digital Twin starts from your real schedule.
After the BAA, never before
The check needs your key, and your key is connected only after your practice signs a BAA with us.
Questions about resources
See all questionsAre the sample calls real patients?
No. Every sample call on this site is staged, with a sample practice and demo data. No real patient is ever used.
Can I listen to the sample calls?
Recordings are coming. For now each sample call has its full transcript, the same way your team reads calls in the portal.
What does Leady read from Open Dental?
Only what booking needs: patients for lookup, appointments, schedules, operatories and providers. Never clinical notes, imaging, ledgers or payroll.
Do the forwarding guides cover my phone carrier?
Carrier-specific steps are added as each one is tested. Until then, we walk you through forwarding on your onboarding call.
When are the webinars?
No dates yet. Join the waitlist and we will email you when the first one is scheduled.
