Short-notice fillA canceled chair, offered again.
When a patient cancels, Leady will offer the open time to the patients on your short-notice list who asked for an earlier appointment, and book the first one who says yes.
Coming. Sample schedule. Demo data, no real patients.
A cancellation at 7 AM can become an empty chair at 10.
Your team knows who wanted an earlier time. What they lack is the half hour to call down the list before the day starts. Leady will make those calls, in your practice’s name, and put the answer in front of your front desk.
A cancellation starts the campaign.
No one has to remember to start it. The open time itself is the signal.
A cancellation opens a chair
When an appointment is canceled in Open Dental, Leady notices the open time and starts a short-notice campaign, if you have switched one on.
It checks what fits
It matches the chair, the provider, the length and the appointment types you allow in that time, and leaves blockouts alone.
Your rules decide
How soon before the slot to stop calling, which days to run, and which types to offer are set in your Digital Twin with you.
Your short-notice list, in your order.
The people who hear about the open chair are the ones who already asked to hear about it.
The list you already keep
Leady reads the ASAP list in Open Dental: the patients your team has already marked as wanting an earlier time.
One at a time, in your order
It calls in the order you choose, inside your calling window and attempt limits, and skips anyone on the do-not-call list.
The first yes takes the chair
As soon as one patient accepts, the campaign stops. Nobody else is offered a time that is no longer free.
One card for the chair, one decision for your team.
The refilled time arrives the same way an inbound booking does, with the campaign’s history beside it.
In your approvals queue
With "Hold for front-desk approval", the new time waits in Open Dental, marked, until your team confirms it. With "Book directly", it is confirmed on the call.
The whole campaign on one card
Who was called, what they said, and when the campaign stopped, with each transcript in the portal.
Nothing disappears
Leady never deletes an appointment. If a patient had a later time, your protocol decides what happens to it, and your team sees it.
Calls at hours your patients would expect.
Every outbound campaign runs inside rules set with you at onboarding and kept in your Digital Twin. The rules apply before any number is dialed.
Do-not-call and consent records
A number on the do-not-call list is skipped. Each campaign keeps a record of why a patient may be called, and a patient who asks not to be called again is not called again.
Quiet hours, time zones, calling windows
You set the days and hours. Leady applies them in the patient’s own time zone and never calls during quiet hours, so a patient who moved away is not woken up.
Attempt limits and machine detection
You set how many times a patient is tried and how far apart. When a machine answers, the call ends and no connected minutes are counted.
Outbound is paid in prepaid minutes.
Outbound calling comes with the Pro and DSO licenses and runs on prepaid credits. You buy minutes in advance and spend them down. Only connected talk minutes are deducted: a call nobody answers, or one that reaches a machine and hangs up, costs nothing.

Questions about short-notice fill
See all questionsIs short-notice fill available today?
Not yet. It is coming, and beta practices test it first. It opens only after counsel has reviewed this kind of call. Join the waitlist to hear when it opens.
Where does the short-notice list come from?
From the ASAP list in Open Dental that your team already keeps. Leady reads it; you decide who is on it.
What if two patients say yes?
Leady calls one patient at a time and stops the campaign as soon as one accepts, so the same time is not offered twice. Our booking engine also refuses a second booking in the same chair and time.
Does it book the time directly?
It uses your booking mode. By default the time is held in Open Dental for your front desk to confirm. "Book directly" needs written acceptance.
How is it paid?
Short-notice fill is outbound calling, included with the Pro and DSO licenses and paid with prepaid credits, valid for 12 months. Only connected talk minutes count.
