Held bookings and callbacks. One screen.
Leady answers the calls your team cannot get to. Everything it did lands in one queue: bookings waiting for a yes, callbacks to make, messages to read. You decide how it works, and you can change that with our support.
What needs a person, in the order it came in.
Leady writes to Open Dental and to your portal at the same time. The portal is where your team decides what is confirmed, what is declined and who calls whom back.
Held bookings
Each hold is a real appointment in the chosen operatory in Open Dental, marked as waiting, with a note. Confirm it, or decline it and it moves to the Unscheduled List.
Callback tasks
When a transfer goes unanswered, the caller's reason becomes a callback task and your team gets a notification. Nobody has to replay a voicemail.
Messages
Anything that is not a booking, like a question for the hygienist or a form request, arrives as a message with its transcript.
The dials are yours.
Settings that decide how Leady behaves live in your portal, not in a support queue. Change them yourself, or with our support.
Booking mode
Chosen with you at onboarding. Hold for front-desk approval is the default; book directly is there when your practice wants it, with written acceptance.
When it answers
After hours, during busy hours you define, and after 3 to 6 rings: any combination, set at onboarding.
Your line, your switch
Your practice forwards its own line to Leady and can switch forwarding off itself, without calling us.
People, order, and a record of every change.
You know who is in the building and who is on call this weekend. Leady follows what you set, and every rule change is written down.
Transfer order
During the hours you set, calls go to your team in the order you choose. No answer becomes a callback task.
On-call roster
Urgent calls go to the dentist on call that night, first choice then second. The agent gives no clinical advice.
Protocol edits, with a changelog
Your Digital Twin holds your hours, chairs, refusals and new-patient flow. Edit it yourself or with our support; each change is written into its changelog.
A sign-in for everyone who works the queue.
Add your front desk and office team to your practice's portal. Each person signs in as themselves.
Named sign-ins
Only your practice's signed-in staff can open calls and transcripts. Separate permissions for each role are being built.
Notifications with no patient data
Email tells a recipient something is waiting. The name, the phone number and the reason stay in the portal. You choose who receives them.
Support inside the portal
Open a ticket and follow it through open, in progress and done. Leave patient information out of the ticket itself.
Questions about Leady for office managers
See all questionsCan we change the booking mode later?
The mode is chosen at onboarding. Hold for front-desk approval is the default; Book directly needs your practice's written acceptance on the onboarding form. Talk to us and we will walk through the change with you.
What if Open Dental already has someone in that chair?
Leady offers only open times it reads from your schedule, and our booking engine refuses a second write to the same chair and time. The refusal is enforced in our database, not left to the software's care.
Does Leady delete anything in Open Dental?
No. A declined hold moves to the Unscheduled List. A new caller's record, created as a prospective patient, stays in Open Dental for you to keep or clear.
Who gets notified, and how?
You choose the recipients: any staff. Notifications go by email today. They carry no patient name, phone number or visit reason; the details are in the portal.
What does Leady write into Open Dental?
An appointment in the chosen chair, held or confirmed, with a note; a communication log entry; an optional task; and a patient record only when a new caller needs one.
